Our grants

If you have been resident in the Parish of Stoke Mandeville, Great Missenden or Great & Little Hampden for two or more years you are eligible to apply for one of our grants.

 

PLEASE NOTE: The Charity is keen to assist the residents of the Parish wherever possible. Unfortunately it cannot provide grants in retrospect. Therefore please do contact the charity as soon as you are able if you require assistance.

Lifeline alarms

Available to residents of Stoke Mandeville Parish.

​

A peace of mind alarm system for the elderly, provided by FairHive Homes.

​

The Charity will fund the installation and annual fee of a lifeline alarm and key safe, upon application.

Senior railcard

The Charity offers reimbursement of a Senior Railcard to residents of Stoke Mandeville Parish, over 65 years old.

​

Only one year railcards are be eligible for reimbursement. Please submit proof of purchase along with the application form below, to the Administrator to claim.

Educational grants

Students in Cafeteria

The Charity regularly offers an annual grant to parishioners who have lived in Stoke Mandeville Parish for 2 or more years and are continuing with studies beyond A-level at University, College or other educational establishments.

Applications for 2023/2024 are now closed. Applications for 2024/2025 will open in the Summer.

Friends & Family Railcard

NEW FOR 2024 : The Charity offers reimbursement of a Friends & Family Railcard to families of Stoke Mandeville Parish, with children between 3 & 12 years old.

​

Only one year railcards are be eligible for reimbursement. Please submit proof of purchase along with the application form below, to the Administrator to claim.

Grants for book bags, P.E. Kit bags and School Uniform

NEW FOR 2024 : The Charity offers reimbursement of the cost of book bags and P.E. Kit bags to families of Stoke Mandeville Parish, with children entering foundation stage at schools other than Stoke Mandeville Combined School.

Please submit proof of purchase along with the application form below, to the Administrator to claim. For help with additional school uniform costs, please contact the Charity at smandopc@gmail.com

Christmas grants

Christmas Celebration

The Charity regularly offers a Christmas grant to parishioners who have lived in the Parish for 2 or more years and who are over 70 years of age. This grant is limited to one per household.

Applications for 2024 will open in the Autumn.
